Jasminum humile (Himalayan Jasmine)
A free-standing, semi-evergreen (deciduous) shrub. Vigorous and tolerates poor soil and drought. Heavy blooms of bright yellow flowers in late spring (and sporadically throughout the summer) followed by small black berries. Very deer resistant.
Requirements: Full sun to partial shade. Very hardy.

An introduction by Xera Plants Inc. of Portland. Selected from seed for its "sophisticated aroma." More floriferous and smaller leaves than the species.
Jasminum humile 'Revolutum'
A monstrously large cultivar growing to 10 ft. x 8 ft. quickly with both larger leaves and flowers than the species.
