Mimulus aurantiacus 'Firewalker' (Monkey Flower)

An evergreen shrub with narrow, dark green foliage. This cultivar was selected by Wild Ginger Farm from a population on the Southern Oregon coast for its particularly "fiery-red" trumpet shaped flowers. Profuse blooms from spring throughout the summer attract bees and hummingbirds. Hardy to 10 F or lower. Deer resistant.

Requirements: Full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Drought tolerant.

Care: Deadhead to encourage further blooming
