Crocosmia × crocosmiiflora 'Solfaterre'

A hybrid (C. aurea × C. pottsii) introduced in 1886 by Victor Lemoin. Apricot-yellow blooms and delightfully dark calyces on 18 in. stalks in late summer. Distinctly bronze-green foliage that is quite sturdy and upright. Attracts hummingbirds. Hardy to 0 F or lower. Perennial.

Requirements: Partial shade. Drought tolerant.
