Clinopodium douglasii (Yerba Buena)
Also known as Oregon Tea. A trailing herb that was so common in the bay area of California that San Francisco was originally named Yerba Buena. Blooms small white flowers in Spring. The leaves have a mild minty flavor and can be added to herbal teas or iced teas. Deer resistant.
Requirements: Tolerates full sun, but will look better with shade or partial shade and occasional summer watering. Drought tolerant.
