'Abrialii' (USA misnamed)

Also known as 'Abrialis.' A French field variety introduced sometime prior to 1935; it was used for mass oil production and was essentially the predecessor to the currently more commonly grown 'Grosso'. It has  dense, silver foliage and makes an attractive ornamental plant.

'Bleu de Collines'

A French selection similar to 'Grosso' but with darker purple buds and flowers. Long flower spikes make it ideal for lavender wands and dried floral bouquets. Blooms in July, very fragrant.

'Fat Spike Grosso'

'Fragrant Memories'

Originally from Grove Ferry lavender fields in Kent, England. Introduced by Blooms of Bressingham in 1994. This lavandin has busy, dense silver foliage and green buds with dark lavender-violet tips. Opens to vibrant violet flowers on long stems. Strongly scented, blooms July-August.

'Grappenhall'

'Grosso'

This plant was discovered in France in 1972 and selected because of it's resistance to the mycoplasm yellow decline. It is one of the most popular plants in the lavender world because of it's high yield in oil. 'Grosso' has tight, silvery foliage and a fan-like blooming habit. Also known as 'Dilly Dilly.'
