Description: evergreen shrub; a selection of C. ladanifer with very large (4 in.), frilly white flowers in spring and summer and attractive cinnamon-red stems. C. ladanifer subsp. mauritianus is only found in Algeria, Morocco, and the Málaga provice of Spain suggesting that it is exceptionally well-adapted to drought.
