Lavandula angustifolia 'Avice Hill'

Description: evergreen shrub; a seedling of 'Munstead' selected by Avice Hill of New Zealand for it's splendid fragrance. It was subsequently named after her and introduced in 1997. Compact, spreading growth and sweetly fragrant dark violet flower spikes on mid-length stems. Flowers slightly later than other L. angustifolia cultivars.
