Description: evergreen shrub; a New Zealand cultivar of otherwise, unknown origin. Bushy growth with unusual broad foliage and pleasantly fragrant, flower spikes on mid-length stems.

Corolla: dark violet-blue with a white center

Calyx: pale ice green with a pinkish apex

Bloom season: early summer
