Description: evergreen tree; a subtropical tree native to India and Sri Lanka. Leaves have a pungent, nutty flavor and are popular in various cuisines. Can grow to 20 ft. in the ground but will be dwarfed by container culture when grown as a house plant (which is necessary in Oregon). 


Height: to 20 ft. Spread: to 6 ft.


Position: indoors- bright, direct light.


Uses: culinary- to temper oils in South Asian cuisine, etc.
