Salvia rosmarinus 'Shimmering Stars'

Description: evergreen shrub; an introduction by Sandy Mush Nursery of N.C. ('Prostratus' × 'Collingwood Ingram' ('Majorca'). Low-growing with dark green foliage and a prostrate growth habit. Very small pale blue flowers with  distinctive stripes in autumn and winter.

Height: to 15 in. Spread: to 3 ft.

Position: full sun and well-draining soil

Uses: culinary, medicine, cosmetics, landscaping

Winter Hardiness: to 10 F and below

Drought: Adapted to 4 months of summer drought
