Description: perennial; a sterile hybrid purportedly found as a chance seedling in the garden of Rita and Edmond Heaton, who curated the national collection of sisyrinchium in the U. K. Forms a rounded clump of broad, leaf blades and blooms large blue flowers off and on from late spring into autumn.


Height: to 6 in. Spread: to 1 ft.


Position: full sun and well-draining soil


Uses: ornamental- in rock gardens, containers or the front of a border
